Hello, before the month ends I'm back with another review. This time its by a local brand which is not new. By now you may have been very familiar with this brand called Scarlet Whitening a local skincare and body care brand that specializes to make your skin look instantly bright and radiant upon first application. The result is exactly visible at that very moment! This isn't my first time trying their products so I do have a lot to say about their body care, if you're curious make sure to read through this whole article. 

Scarlet Whitening has already obtained BPOM certification making it safe for us to use thus ensuring that even though it can create significant change upon first use all the ingredients used in the products are all natural and safe for the skin. To be honest at first I might be a bit skeptical on the products since I do have very sensitive skin including my body. That's why I have to be quite selective in the soap and lotion I used cause if not my skin might show me adverse signals right after. So for you guys who are blessed with non sensitive skin, I would say you're truly blessed cause as someone with sensitive skin this journey for finding the right product for my skin is pretty difficult. Back to this review let's begin shall we? 

In this post I'll be sharing a complete review on Scarlet Whitening body care series including their body scrub, body lotion and shower scrub. Which of the three are you most curious about? I got you covered for you guys who'd like an in-dept review on them.. 

Scarlett Whitening – Body Scrub 

Direction of use:

Apply on your skin, allow it to sit for about 2-3 minutes. Gently scrub and rinse it off.  

Packaging

 This body scrub by Scarlet Whitening comes in a jar container, it has a seal on it so the products won't spill off upon delivery. I find this packaging pretty practical for a scrub, cause it enables us to control the amount of products we want to use.

Review 

My impression on this body scrub is, it really deep cleanse my skin making it feel and look completely refreshed afterwards. I really like the gentle scrub in this product cause it helps to gently exfoliate my skin. Especially this scent Romansa it has a calming and soothing scent perfect to unwind in the shower. With this you can experience your own home spa treatment :) Upon using their body scrub I could see visibly that my skin looks so much more radiant and bright, just the perfect skin boost for the skin whenever I feel my skin looks dull!

Scarlett Whitening – Brightening Shower Scrub

Direction of use:

Pour sufficient product and gently scrub over your whole body.

 This brightening shower scrub comes in a plastic bottle yet it has a strong cap that makes it secure to carry around without spilling. You can also find the whole ingredient list, expire date, directions of use on the bottle too.

Review 

This was among the first products from Scarlet Whitening that I used. I've used this a few years back and now I'm back using it again, and I still experience a pleasant time using this shower scrub in my shower time. I like that it makes my skin feel refreshed and smooth after showering. I also noticed that the soft tiny scrub particles in the soap helps to gently exfoliate my skin making it look even brighter after showering. I do enjoy a more calming and relaxing scent that's why I prefer their Pomegrante. This fragrance has been my favorite since the first time I try it. I also like that the scent lingers on after showering.

Massage onto your hands and body to moisturize your skin.

 This body lotion comes in a plastic bottle which includes a pump to enable us to easily pump the amount of products we want to use.  You can also find the whole ingredient list, expire date, directions of use on the bottle too.

As seen the result is pretty significant right? I am still in awe every time I'm done using this Scarlet Whitening Body Lotion. As you know I have sensitive skin, some body lotions tend to make my skin irritated and itchy but luckily this product doesn't cause any adverse effect on my skin which is why I love using it. If you notice I actually has a pretty dark skin for my overall body except my face. That's why I'm thrilled when I find out this product actually works on my skin without resulting in any skin irritation. Since then I've been a fan of this body lotion cause I could see a quick skin pick me up every time I finish using it. 

The light texture and formula also absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy feeling. I like that it does what it claims, not only moisturizing my skin but also brighten up my skin. Not to mention their scent is pretty sweet and fresh just the perfect fit for day to day wear.

They have four body lotions variant; Charming, Fantasia, Romansa and Freshy (this is their newest scent which is said to have a similar scent as the infamous Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia). Here I got two lotions which are their Charming and Romansa. I'm team Romansa , cause it has a more sweet and subtle scent that I like. While Charming has a stronger scent similar to the famous Baccarat parfume. 

Verdict 

Overall, I would consider all their products are good enough considering the price tag which is also very economic friendly. Now every one can be their own kind of beautiful, although I believe beauty is never about your skin color but to look and be better for your own self is part of self care. Even though Scarlet Whitening enhance your skin tone making it look a lot brighter and radiant but you can be ensured that all their products are safe for use and doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. They use mainly Glutathione and Vitamin E in most of their body care which are the main key ingredients to boost your skin tone to make them look a lot brighter. 

What is Glutathione?

"A tripeptide consisting of glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine: important in biological oxidations and the activation of some enzymes."

This key ingredient which is part of all Scarlet Whitening products has the ability to regenerate and also fight off free radicals working as an anti oxidant for the skin. Thus it helps to maintain the moisture, elasticity, and protection on our making. To make our skin look healthier and well moisturized. Thus resulting in a brighter radiant looking skin.

 Hello Beautiful people,  It's a fine month to start about something new from Barry M. By now Barry M won't be new to you since I've talked and reviewed about their products numerous times on my blog as well as on my Instagram page. For those who are new Barry M is British cult cosmetics brand that is said to be 100% Vegan and cruelty free. Today I'll share about their Barry M Dazzle Dust & Fine Glitter Dust which is a multipurpose glitter powders which you can use not only as your eye shadow but also on your body/ highlight on your cheeks. Without further ado let's dig in shall we?   

Packaging 

They come in this round glass pot that is pretty small in size but contains quite a lot of products since you only need a little to make it lit. This comes handy when you need to carry it around when you travel. Each glass pot consist 3.5g of products. 

Formula & Texture 

Both Barry M Dazzle Dust & Fine Glitter Dust  glitter powders are designed to be loose, intense color with sparkly glitters. However the only difference between the two are Dazzle Dust has much more fine glitters while Fine Glitter Dust has larger glitter particles. You can see the comparison of both on my swatches below. These glitter powder pots contain a multiple facets of intensive selective colors that glides on smoothly upon application giving off a sparkly finish. 

The colors are pretty pigmented since a single layer gives you all the color it has, however since its a powder base it would be best to apply a base prior to it so that the product can last longer. I have no complains over the glitters and texture as its so easy to apply but do use it carefully case glitters can get messy if you are unsure I suggest try to add it bits by bits. You can slowly build up the intensity instead of having glitter fall off everywhere, precision is key on applying these glitter dust. However once you've get used to it, you'll love these glitters as much as I do!

Make up Look 

So here's my whole eye makeup using both Barry M Dazzle Dust & Fine Glitter Dust. I used  Fine glitter dust 4 silver on the center of my eyelid to add more dimension to whole look and combined both Dazzle dust 39 rose gold and Dazzle dust 44 bronze  for the base on top of my neutral brown eyeshadow. Aside from that I also used  Fine glitter dust 27 wildfire for the inner corner of my eyes to brighten up my eye look, I also used it as my highlighter on my cheeks and also my collar bone. Since these powder glitters are so versatile and multipurpose you can use them for your eyes, cheek and body. Isn't the bling pretty? I like that even though the glitters are very intense but you can wear it both for daily look or even for festival look accordingly on how you'd like to do your makeup. what do you think of this look? 

Verdict 

Overall I would consider both Barry M Dazzle Dust and Fine Glitter Dust to be completely great ti add some beings over your eyeshadows or highlight whenever you feel like adding some pop of glitters that actually shine these glitter dust will surely do a great job. However you might need to pay attention to the application process so you won't smear the glitter all over your face. That's why I prefer using my fingers to give precision where I want to apply it but if you'd like to use brush make sure to spray your brush with a bit of face mist so when you apply the glitter powders they'll be more precised and won't get messy.  In terms of pigmentation and color pay off I have no complain over it! This will surely add up to my decorative makeup whenever I feel like wearing a popping bling bling makeup look.
