Yet this year has forced me to move beyond my comfort zone of having everything planned out to simply living and seizing the moment. Allowing myself to feel and learn the art of freedom and surrendering. One thing I learnt for sure is by giving you’ll never truly loose any. All your needs are being supplied just perfectly for you, so don’t worry dear soul. Don’t let the hurdles challenge your faith, be steadfast and take a chance to realize the numerous wonders that have filled the colours of our days in 2020.

Thank you 2020, we’re ready to move on to the next chapter... won’t sugarcoat and say that next year will eventually be better (things may be harder), even though I believed even in hard times there’s always something to be thankful for. Hold on tight to your Faith and let’s pray for a better tomorrow. Now that your perspective is shifted, we’re all ready for what’s ahead! 

Okay, so back to this accommodation I got to tried managed by Ini Vie Hospitality  called La Vie Villa Legian. Its a one bedroom villa with a private pool and bathtub in each room. The villa is filled with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable just like home. Not to mention they have very friendly and helpful staffs. This villa would make the perfect stay for honeymoon or short gateway in the Island of Gods. 

We checked in pretty late but even so they managed to prepare our villa for us and even had a welcoming flower garland. The check in process was also quick and hassle free. La Vie Villa offers 10 one bedroom villas with  Private Pool and Bathtub with 4 stars standard villa facilities. The bathtub is placed by the bedroom which is very unique layout but its indeed has its own unique touch that will make your stay even more memorable. Located in Legian and is only 30 minutes drive away from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and it’s only 10 minutes drive to many restaurants, instagrammable spots, such as Legian Beach, Double Six Beach and famous beaches club in Seminyak. 

Here at La Vie they have two breakfast options floating breakfast and in room breakfast. Their Breakfast menu is also variative, you can choose your breakfast selection one day before so you'll have them ready for you on the next day. I noticed they are pretty on time on the breakfast delivery time, especially on our floating breakfast day ( It's a total plus point, since I need my energy breakfast everyday). It's also my first time trying out floating breakfast, I thought it would give a weird sensation inside the pool, apparently it was fun and we had a pleasant morning enjoying our floating breakfast.

Breakfast menu options 

The room itself is pretty spacious, and is more than enough for two pax. You'll find a king sized bed, large bathroom, pantry corner and fridge.

When the day breaks you can enjoy a morning dip by your private pool while enjoying your floating breakfast. Love that they have a build in swing just by the pool so you can have a thrilling fun stay just within your villa. They even provide floaties for each villa, I truly had a blissful time during my stay at La Vie. 

They have rotatable TV station so you can watch form the living room or in your bed. It's one fascinating feature I found in this room. They also provide Netflix and Youtube on their TV. You find all the entertainment you need to keep entertained within the villa even if you decide to stay in. Writing this makes me wasn't to extend my quarantine stay here at La Vie if possible.

Hello beautiful, How have you been? It's finally December and we're almost through with 2020. Hardly believe we've made it this far yet things are still far from normal or many might say would never ever be the same anymore. However I believe better days are coming, as for now stay strong, healthy and sane. It's indeed a season to be grateful for all the little blessings in everyday instead of looking for the things we don't have. 

COVID has indeed hit the hardest in tourism and travel sector this year and one thing I would say traveling during pandemic takes a lot of precautions and effort. To be honest its a tedious work and I really miss the old traveling style yet if you happen to travel now make sure to follow the proper health protocols, stay alert and mindful at all times to not only keep yourself safe but also other people. 

December with holiday season around the corner you might feel the urge to travel so here in this post I'll share some of the things you need to take note if you're about to travel during this pandemic season. Traveling domestically within Indonesia is possible yet there's a few things you need to prepare prior to traveling. Just got back from my Bali trip so here's my personal experience on traveling during this pandemic season. 

Get your Rapid Test / PCR test 

Book your flight 

Make sure to book flights that implement seat distancing, cause sadly even though physical distancing is part of the safety health protocols yet not all flight implement and practice this strictly. I fly with Citilink on my previous Bali trip and super happy with their service and the way the practice seat distancing in flight. Aside from Citilink, Garuda also practice seat distancing in flight. All the air crews are also making sure everything is clean and sanitized. 

1) Validate your documents 

2) Check in & Drop your baggage 

3) Board the airplane like usually

4) Practice proper health protocols 

Prevention is the best way to fight off this pandemic and Coronavirus thus its essential for everyone to practice the health protocol. Check out the list below, wear your mask, keep your distance, wash your hands often and sanitize your hands too if you can't wash your hands. Make sure not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth area.  

Enjoy your flight

Try to put on your mask at all times in flight and just avoid opening your mask to stay safe. Even though most airplanes have used HEPA technology which is said to be able to filter out bacteria and virus to provide a safer traveling experience but its better to be safe than sorry right. 

At Citilink they provide in flight food but I kept it till landing to eat.
