New year, New spirit? Hopefully everyone is in their best...
Can't hardly believe that we're half way pass January it seems like just yesterday we celebrated New Year but now we're already in mid month.. Don't you think so? Time surely flies, especially in moments you enjoy!
Last year on holiday season I received this Lippie Countdown package from NYX Indonesia, so this is a lip color set consisting of 24 mini lipsticks. This Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar is a special holiday set which as per its name is like a calendar with dates where we can open each number according to the dates. I believe that its a countdown to the season greetings or Christmas cause the calendar stops at Christmas Eve which is 24. Well that's my own personal thought it can be a coincidence but yeah so throughout December every single day was full of surprise cause I got to open each number accordingly and it feels so good to receive a mystery surprise everyday. NYX is really rocking the concept and idea, totally love it! In this post I'll share with you a whole 24 swatches of the lippie collection as well as my top five favorite shades..

Packaging
I truly adore well concept and cute packaging! This Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar indeed came out with a super cute concept and I'm so excited to open each one everyday. It does makes my December far more exciting cause I got to wake up and open to a new surprise. Totally enjoy the packaging concept of this holiday collection. In terms of the lipstick they all come in mini sizes which is great, because now you can have all 24 different lipstick types and shades by purchasing this one Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar product. It's definitely worth it!!
At the back of the packaging you can find the whole complete 24 lipstick shades details, together with the informations about the types of lipstick inside this lip color set. You can find a total of 8 NYX lipstick types with different finish from Butter Gloss, Butter Lipstick, Intense Butter Gloss, NYX Professional Makeup Lingerie, Liquid Suede, Matte Lipstick, Soft Matte Lip Cream, and Simply Red.
Now lets' move on to my top 5 favorites from this lip color set... All the shades are totally lovely and pigmented. I did have a hard time choosing my top five but these five are very wearable for daily look except for the purple one. The most important part is all these lipstick feels super comfortable on my lips and they really have a great color pay off :)

Butter lipstick, Butter Gloss and Intense Butter Gloss are officially my favorite formula from this whole collection because I prefer lipstick or lip products that have sheer glossy finish compared to a totally matte one cause I personally feel it makes my lips look much healthier! Now let me show you my top five favorites and how they look on my lips.. Share with me in the comment section which one do you think looks best on me. The Butter lipstick glides in smoothly on the lips without giving any dry or cracky feeling on my lips compared to their matte lipstick. As for the Butter Gloss and Intense Butter Gloss, they kind of have a similar formula and texture but Intense Butter Gloss tend to have a stronger color pay off and the butter gloss do have a more sheer finish. Well all the lipsticks are buildable and you can slowly layer over the lipstick for a bolder and vivid color.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN was a blast for me, I fell in love completely with 22,23,and 24 ❤ No. 7 Berry Strudel wasn't a common shade I would wear but the color is beyond cute and unique. I'm a fan of anything with a touch of eccentric thus this shade do represent it very well! This limited-edition box of goodies is definitely worth the investment, it can be a great choice of present too.. Even though holiday season is gone but you can always make a certain someone feel special everyday even without any events or celebration. If you're looking for the perfect gift for your girl try to get them this.. cause here's a little secret no girls can ever have too many lipsticks and adding this lippie will definitely bring a big fat smile onto her face. This is supposed to be a holiday collection but you can always check at NYX cosmetics at their store for all NYX products and don't forget to follow them on their official social media nyxcosmetics_indonesia to stay in check of their updates.
