I guess everyone love long, voluminous and healthy lashes that's why we tend to get lash extensions or all the other lash treatments to get them all set cause its no secret that lashes do play a huge role in making the whole face look much more awake. However we often neglect the importance to take care  of the wellness of our lashes. We often love the results by lash extensions that we don't give the lash any rest and keep on doing it continuously without knowing that it can actually harm your own lashes  and may lead to baldness in your lashes. 

So today I'll share with you guys something that I've been trying out for almost a whole month that is this Mavala - Double Lash. This product is said to be able to nourish the lashes and help it to grow longer, fuller and stronger. It has also been one of Mavala best selling eye product, the product comes in a container like a nail polish and the product is a clear transparent serum. The applicator looks like the usual mascara wand that helps to reach out to ever strand of lashes. The applicator makes the whole application process simple and hustle free. They said that to see the actual result you need to use it regularly for at least 30 days to obtain first results. 

Review

Upon trying out the products for about a month (on, off) I do realize that my lashes look longer and fuller. I'm not so sure if there is a drastic change but I do notice the little changes over the times I used it. I usually used it once daily at the end, after completing my night skincare routine. The best part is there are a few spares areas on my lashes due to previous lash extensions which makes it look a bit bald in the area but now the previously bald space is slowly showing newly grown lashes. So far the product has shown favorable changes although not drastic but slow but sure progress is seen. My lashes seem to grow healthier and stronger thus longer and look fuller as well. At first I was kind of afraid to try it because I fear it might irritate my eyes cause I tend to have a sensitive skin in general but I'm so happy that the product doesn't cause any irritation on the skin around my eyes although it can give a little tingling feeling after application. 

PROS:
-Thickens eyelashes
-Helps grow back lost lashes 

-No scent

-Ophtalmologically tested thus safe for the eyes if the product gets into your eyes 

CONS:
-Packaging looks like nail polish

-After application the product kind of make the lash feels a bit stiff like putting a clear transparent mascara over it 

This is how my lashes look like, some curled up part is due to my YUMI LASH treatment but as you can see my lashes look so much longer and full :) I'm so happy !

New year, New spirit? Hopefully everyone is in their best... 

Can't hardly believe that we're half way pass January it seems like just yesterday we celebrated New Year but now we're already in mid month.. Don't you think so? Time surely flies, especially in moments you enjoy! 

Last year on holiday season I received this Lippie Countdown package from NYX Indonesia, so this is a lip color set consisting of 24 mini lipsticks. This Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar is a special holiday set which as per its name is like a calendar with dates where we can open each number according to the dates. I believe that its a countdown to the season greetings or Christmas cause the calendar stops at Christmas Eve which is 24. Well that's my own personal thought it can be a coincidence but yeah so throughout December every single day was full of surprise cause I got to open each number accordingly and it feels so good to receive a mystery surprise everyday. NYX is really rocking the concept and idea, totally love it! In this post I'll share with you a whole 24 swatches of the lippie collection  as well as my top five favorite shades.. 

Packaging 

I truly adore well concept and cute packaging! This Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar indeed came out with a super cute concept and I'm so excited to open each one everyday. It does makes my December far more exciting cause I got to wake up and open to a new surprise. Totally enjoy the packaging concept of this holiday collection. In terms of the lipstick they all come in mini sizes which is great, because now you can have all 24 different lipstick types and  shades by purchasing this one Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar product. It's definitely worth it!! 

Now lets' move on to my top 5 favorites from this lip color set... All the shades are totally lovely and pigmented. I did have a hard time choosing my top five but these five are very wearable for daily look except for the purple one. The most important part is all these lipstick feels super comfortable on my lips and they really have a great color pay off :)

Butter lipstick, Butter Gloss and Intense Butter Gloss are officially my favorite formula from this whole collection because I prefer lipstick or lip products that have sheer glossy finish compared to a totally matte one cause I personally feel it makes my lips look much healthier! Now let me show you my top five favorites and how they look on my lips.. Share with me in the comment section which one do you think looks best on me. The Butter lipstick glides in smoothly on the lips without giving any dry or cracky feeling on my lips compared to their matte lipstick. As for the Butter Gloss and Intense Butter Gloss, they kind of have a similar formula and texture but Intense Butter Gloss tend to have a stronger color pay off and the butter gloss do have a more sheer finish. Well all the lipsticks are buildable and you can slowly layer over the lipstick for a bolder and vivid color.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN was a blast for me, I fell in love completely with 22,23,and 24 ❤ No. 7 Berry Strudel wasn't a common shade I would wear but the color is beyond cute and unique. I'm a fan of anything with a touch of eccentric thus this shade do represent it very well! This limited-edition box of goodies is definitely worth the investment, it can be a great choice of present too.. Even though holiday season is gone but you can always make a certain someone feel special everyday even without any events or celebration. If you're looking for the perfect gift for your girl try to get them this.. cause here's a little secret no girls can ever have too many lipsticks and adding this lippie will definitely bring a big fat smile onto her face. This is supposed to be a holiday collection but you can always check at NYX cosmetics at their store for all NYX products and don't forget to follow them on their official social media nyxcosmetics_indonesia to stay in check of their updates.

Today I have a new post to share with you guys its about this new cushion I got from Lapalette Beauty "Double Mesh Blur Pact". K beauty are highly linked with cushion product because its where all the hype started. Cushion foundations or base makeup products are made to ease the whole makeup process by creating a flawless base makeup with just one product. As now the innovations have continued to grow there are millions of cushion products in the market and now even the Western brands have started to create cushion product as well. 

I find cushion foundation or makeup base product a game changer in getting the makeup ready quickly because usually a single cushion product can already have primer, base and even sunscreen in a single product thus for busy on the go ladies cushion is the best fit to get their makeup done quickly yet effectively. So back to the Lapalette Beauty Double Mesh Blur Pact, this product comes in a cushion form and it has two different shade no. 21 (lightest shade for fair skin) and no. 23 (Natural shade for slightly darker skin). Too bad they only have two shade variations but you don't have to worry much because I realize that the product to blend into your skin tone once it set so the natural one no. 23 will work for most skin tone in general except if you have tanner skin compared to most Asian. Well cause Lapalette Beauty is a Korean brand  so their choices of shades reflect to the demand in Korea. In Korea its somehow a trend for them to like lighter base makeup compared to their actual skin tone which isn't something I savvy but its the general preferences of makeup in Korea. However I do like products that can give a brightening effect or make my skin glow but not to the extend that the shade is too light compared to my skin tone. 

I got mine in the shade no. 21 because previously I've tried getting a K-beauty cushion product of a different brand in the shade no. 23 but it turned out too dark so from then on I've also chose no. 21 because it blends in better with my natural skin tone. 
Packaging 

The product also comes with a plastic separation for the place to put the puff this is to maintain the hygiene of the product after every use. Overall the packaging looks cute, classy and definitely luxurious. It is also very compact and effective!

Another cuteness is their cushion puff.. Just look at those horse/pony illustration prints on the puff :)

You'll need to remove the seal to see the actual product! The seal is to make sure the hygiene of the product.

Formula
In terms of formula this lapalette Cushion has a light to medium coverage but the consistency is pretty good and you can easily build it up as per your need. It has a satin finish on the skin giving your skin that healthy Korean look instantly. The product also come in spa 50 +/PA+++ which will protect your skin from the harmful UV rays.This cushion is said to have all the following features that works not only as a makeup but also semi skin care kind of product with its formula:

-Double mesh gold fabric helps you to get an even layer of product on your skin thus giving you a natural finish
-Fitting pact its because the product fit in just right without any clumping

Now on the last event marathon of December! It's the Beauty Journal X Laneige event which is also the last event of 2017. On that day Laneige Indonesia also launched their newest skincare line called the Fresh Calming series. I'll also share more about this new Laneige Fresh Calming series in this post. The event took place at Rock, Paper, Scissors Kuningan, it was a gloomy day and don't know why on that particular day it felt so cold. The event start off with an opening speech by our Beauty Journal Editor in Chief, Mira Monika following up with the representative of Laneige giving us a little brief introduction on this  Fresh Calming series. Moving on to the next session on the event is to make a popsicle decorations with your teammates. The popsicles were made for us and all we need to do is to decorate it with all the decorations provided. Since the main ingredients for Laneige Fresh Calming Series  is Lychee we used lots of Lychee to decorate our popsicle. That day was so cold and we're playing with ice, it was so freezing but overall very fun!
