Weekend Staycation at Mandarin Orchard Singapore

A week ago I found myself waking up in the sunny little red dot (well not exactly sunny cause it was mostly gloomy on my last visit;'()! It's always feel great to be back in Singapore... A city with lots of precious childhood memories and will definitely have a part of me calling it home. My last visit was very short mainly to attend the opening of Orchard Christmas Village and to enjoy the whole Christmas celebration vibes at Orchard thanks to Orchard Singapore for inviting.
Today I'm going to share about my little short escape stay at Mandarin Orchard Singapore. Mandarin Orchard Singapore is located at the heart of Orchard road and is so close to the main shopping and entertainment district. It's only a few minutes walk away from ION and Somerset. The hotel location is so strategic that you can easily reach out to all the shopping centers in walking distance. Cause it was Christmas season the whole street is so lit up at night with all the lights and Christmas celebration details. Writing this makes me reminisce those beautiful lights again!

Now let me take you on a little room tour shall we? It was a large twin bed room for the two of us. So we stayed at their newly renovated superior deluxe rooms located at the 16th floor The room has all the utilities we need to make our stay pleasant and they supply us with bottled water daily. The room was very spacious, clean and luxurious. We have unlimited access of Wifi in the room and around the hotel premises.

| Handy smartphone for free local and international calls, and access to unlimited 4G data The great thing about Mandarin Orchard Singapore is they offer a phone at each room with Internet datas which you are free to use in Singapore and it can be used to call home as well all free of charge ! It's a complimentary service from the hotel for all their guests. So for all the guest who stayed at Mandarin Orchard you don't have to worry about purchasing internet data sim cards or renting portable wifi cause you can actually use this complimentary phone. |
Bathroom situation
We have a shower and a bath tub, toilet and two sinks just right for two people in the room so we wouldn't fight over the sinks.. Hahaha

Breakfast buffet was also amazing! they offer a lot of food variations from different cuisine which was nice cause we got to try different assortment of food and drinks. One of the best breakfast buffet I've experienced. Everything served were also so delicious and filling.. Everyday they make variation in the menu giving us a fresh new exciting flavors to look up to every morning during breakfast.

The usual check out time would be like other hotels at 12 pm but since they knew we have an evening flight they help us adjusted our check out time to 4 pm so we can still have some time to travel around the city without having to hustle about baggage deposit after checking out etc.. I really appreciate it! The whole Mandarin Orchard team was so prompt, professional, and friendly !
Overall my stay at Mandarin Orchard Singapore was amazing! I had a pleasant time off thank you for making our stay memorable. Lastly I'd like to thank Orchard team for flying me to Singapore that my friend and I can have some time away from our hectic schedules to relax and enjoy! Can't wait to be back for my next stay...
