I bet you've been waiting for this posts for quite sometimes now don't you? hehehe sorry to keep you waiting, I had a lot in hands this month so this post get a little delay but no worries now I'll share with you my whole review on all the Shu Uemura X Mario Bros Holiday 2017 Limited Edition Collection products that the super kind Shu Uemura Indonesia team sent me. First off I'd like to thank the Shu Uemura team for being so kind to send me this box of goodness! I was in shock when I received the box cause no one told me it was coming.

So I didn't expect anything and this box is just beyond my imagination!!! I literally smiled from ears to ears and can't stop smiling upon receiving this package... Thank you for playing Santa and making this girl super duper happy! I'm actually quite a Mario Bros fan I played the games a lot in my childhood and this holiday collection do help me reminisce to my good old childhood times.I remembered fighting the dragon a million times but Princess Peach is still no where to be found hahaha :') Okay, enough of the ranting shall we begin?

Packaging
Before we start off with the products I just want to give a huge shoutout to the creative or design team. This collaboration is indeed super cute! Just look at the whole Mario Bros Holiday 2017 Limited Edition Collection prints on the packaging. Everything is just too cute and adorable !! It screams two words super loud Cuteness overload...

In the box I received various products from Shu Uemura X Mario Bros Holiday 2017 Limited Edition Collection. It contains: Shu Uemura x Super Mario Bros Ultime8 Cleansing Oil, Invincible Superstar Premium Curler ,Peach's Cushion Foundation Compact Case, Blanc Chroma Cushion refill, Cushion Blush in Dreamy Mauve, Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte in PK375, Eye and Cheek Palette , and Moisturizing Lip Balm.

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Bros Ultime8 Cleansing Oil

I've personally been using their Shu Uemura Blanc Chroma cleansing oil and it works really well getting rid of all my makeup. It melt everything away so quickly, I'm in love with that cleansing oil and it has completely changed my whole perception on oil cleanser. Before I wouldn't dare to touch oil cleanser but this cleanser leaves my skin feeling super supple and I can't explain the feeling it made my skin feels. I can't help but feel amazed by how soft and supple my skin feels after using the cleansing oil. So the Blanc Chroma cleansing oil focuses on helping to brighten up and even out skin tones while this Ultime8 Cleansing Oil focuses on delivering softer, smoother and moisturized skin. After actually trying both I can't really make any difference yet between both the cleansing oil but all I know is it helps to really melt down all my makeup and I do love how my skin felt after using the cleanser. I felt smooth, soft and doesn't feel like how usual cleanser would strip off and make the skin feeling tight. However I can't still make sure whether my current skin break out is because of this cleansing oil that I've recently started to incorporate in my skincare regime but all I know is that this cleanser cleanse off my make up and I do like the after wash effect but I'm not so sure if it does or doesn't break me out will give it a check a little longer and let you guys know how it is.

P.s. If you're acne prone you might want to gamble with it cause the product is actually said to not clog pores but cleanse off thoroughly to the pores but no matter what this product contains mineral oils that might risk your skin to clog if not cleansed off properly. All I can say that after trying it you might want to stick with it cause your skin will feel super supple and smooth..

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Bros Invincible Superstar Premium Curler

This lash curler is by far my favorite curler ever! I've actually owned one of Shu Uemura's curler already... The good classic curler indeed does its job pretty well. Comparing its price with all the other curler in the market Shu's curler might be a bit pricey but trust me the quality you get will be different. The curler helps to curl and hold your curls for a whole day even without mascara! Even after my Yumi Lash treatments I still like to curl my lashes a bit to give it the boost of curls when needed. More on my Yumi lash treatment soon.. Stay tune

for those who's been asking me about the treatment. This curler is indeed an investment worth making! curling your lash won't be the same with it. It's even cuter in this limited edition with the super star pendant and the color is gold ❤

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Bros Peach's Cushion Foundation Compact Case

This cushion was actually something I was really eager to try out once I've opened the package because its so cute and I'm all about a flawless complexion. My makeup has always focused on the complexion more than any other part of the face. I really like it when my complexion or base looks natural and flawless. P.s. My skin isn't flawless and I have a lot of parts to conceal like dark spots, acne, acne scars, etc... So having a good base is very important for me.

The Shu Uemura X Mario Bros only launches the case with cute Peach and Mario prints on it, packaging wise its definitely cuteness! So if you intend to get this you'll only get the case and the puff without the actually cushion product. Thus you'll need to buy the Shu Uemura Blanc Chroma cushion refill in addition to the case to actually put it into use.

With that being said, I would say I'm kind of disappointed with this cushion because upon using it, it doesn't set on my skin and looks super heavy and cake :( I think one factor that caused it is because this cushion is suppose to be matte therefore it highlights any dry spots or areas on your skin. Thus making my skin looking cakey as my skin hasn't been in its best condition recently. I guess this cushion just doesn't match my current skin condition. Will give it another try once my skin condition has cleared out to see if it works better next time. However for the time being I'll have to skip this cushion first... However I do like the cooling effect it has on the cushion upon application, it feels refreshing on the skin. This cushion might work better for those with oily skin cause the formula really mattify your skin. Coverage wise it has medium coverage.

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Fresh Cushion Blush in Dreamy Mauve

Blusher cushion has been a thing these days, and for this Shu Uemura X Mario Bros they've also caught up in the trend to create a cushion blusher. However I think this product is so-so, the color it gives off is very subtle thus making it very wearable for daily use. It gives off a beautiful roses pink that is very lightweight. But if you like a bold flushed blushed look, I guess you'll need to layer another powder blusher onto it to build up the color. For my likings the color is too pale or subtle that it doesn't really show on my skin, as my skin is pretty fair so the light and subtle blush only appears in a sheer mode.. So for me every time I use this I'll need to layer another powder blusher on top of it to add a pop of color. Formula and texture wise I do enjoy this product, if only they come out with more shades.

So as you can see the colour is super soft and light, giving the natural healthy pinkish blush look however if you have fair skin like mine the color might not really show. No matter how many times you build up the color but it just won't build.. But the finish do give you the glowing healthy glow everyone loves.

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte in PK375

Totally adoring the color, texture and formula of this lipstick! One word even though its a matte lipstick but its so "comfortable" on the lips. It doesn't dry out the lips, on the contrary it even felt more like moisturizing on the lips when I applied it. This PK375 has a sweet coral kind of pink shade that is perfect for everyday wear.

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Peach's Eye and Cheek Palette

The palette comes in a beautiful and cute pink packaging and the product inside has the cute Mario Bros iconic mushroom, star, mystery box and plant imprinted on the blushers. It was too cute that I almost can't bear to swatch it :'(

The colors are not so vivid upon first application but its build-able, the brush that comes with the palette is pretty good too. You can instantly create different look with this single palette to match various occasions. The blushers come in two shades coral (orange) and pink both has some shimmer in it so you can actually use it like a highlighter as well. The shimmer can give you the little tiny glow you need.

Swatches

The eye shadow palette part comes in various shades that are suitable for base, styling and definition. You can see it clearly stated on the plastic overs. This will ease for those beginner who''re still learning on eye makeup this can be the guide of which color to pick for which. I really like the brown define as it really works well for the outer corner of my eyes to create more definition for my eyes.

Shu Uemura x Super Mario Depsea Hydrability Moisturizing Lip Balm

This lip balm does an amazing job in moisturizing and hydrating the lips. I'm a fan of lip balm however I do have very sensitive skin and lips which makes some lip balm irritant to my lips. However this lip balm doesn't cause any irritation reaction so, so far so good! It has a very light texture and is transparent in formula, no specific scent too..
