Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
It is located in the northwest are of Okinawa Island and is also considered one of the largest in the world with lots of distinct, exotic underwater creatures. The word “Churaumi” means clear, beautiful seas in Okinawa language which leads to its name Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium that means "The Mysteries of Okinawa in Living Color”. Catch the beauty of underwater creatures as you walk through the aquarium.
Nishihama Beach
Nishihama Beach is located at the southernmost island of Hateruma Island and this island is inhabited thus making its nature's beauty being well preserved from any human touch. Yet its a hit beach destination here in Okinawa. Visitors will be welcomed with the wide vast white sand beach and emerald crystal clear water. The waters here are safe for swimming and snorkling is also allowed. Can you imagine how beautiful the coral reefs would look like?
Yonaha Maehama Beach
Just like any other beaches in Okinawa this is another beach worth the visit as its a resort beach so you can expect it to be clean and well maintained. p.s. its not recommended to swim in Kabira Bay eventhough water may be tempting to dip in but due to several safety reasons its not allowed to swim there.
Shurijo Castle
Enough with the beaches, now let's visit this Shurijo Castle. It is a heritage with beautiful ancient Japanese architecture. If you're someone who loves traditional heritage and cultures this place is definitely worth the visit!
Those listed above are my top five but beside these you can also find lots of other beautiful places to visit in Okinawa as its so rich in its natural beauty. Not to name tOkinawa has tons of beautiful beaches and each beach are appealing in its own way!
