[Review]: B.LIV SKIN Products

Now lets talk about pores... Every one must have experienced with blackheads and whiteheads problems. before, right? Pore problems are usually caused by junks or dirt or makeup residue that resides on skin which clogs our pores and results in these endless pore problems. In series cases it can cause break outs which will be totally uncool. From my own personal experience due to my severe break out experience in my teens I do have huge pores on my cheek area and some on my nose. Although the acne has cleared up but the pores aren't shrinking back to its actual size which makes it even easier for my pores to clog as their size are bigger. That's why cleansing is essential in my skin care regime, I try my best not to skip cleansing step everyday.

Not only acne but pore problems can also cause blackheads and whiteheads that can be troublesome too on the skin. You know with all those heads sitting on your skin it'll be very difficult for your skin to look flawless. Especially as someone who loves natural looking makeup, I need to ensure my skin condition is prominent so that I don't need to layer up tons of base makeup... However the truth is my skin isn't perfect either :'( I experience break out every now and then and I do have blackheads that are very difficult to get rid off. Usually when I'm kinda bored I would pick on those blackheads trying to pull them out but sometimes when I don't succeed I'm actually causing more harm to my own skin and eventually it turned to active acne!! That's why never ever pick on your acne or touch your face... because most of the case we're only doing harm to our skin by adding more germs and bacteria to our skin from our hands.

So now I'll be introducing you to this brand called B.Liv, years back this brand was kind of booming here in Indonesia.. Promoting about their Off with those heads (blackheads sebum gel) which was said to be effective to battle and enables us to extract blackheads easily. However I was always kind of hesitant to try new skin care because my skin is super sensitive but last month when the representative of B.Liv contacted me to do a review about their products I was also still hesitant whether or not to take it. But after some discussions and the reassurance from the B.Liv Team which are so kind to answer to all my queries I decided to give it a go. It because I really want to try their Off with those heads (blackheads sebum gel) and see whether it actually works to fight blackheads. Does it really work? make sure you read till the end.

Off with those heads (blackheads sebum gel)

This gel helps to unclog pores and lessen the occurrence of black and whiteheads. It also helps to remove blackheads and whiteheads without any painful extraction process. It also helps to control the secretion of oil thus making your skin looks a lot clearer. It is suitable for all skin type with blackheads and whiteheads.

the gel itself doesn't have any significant scent and it absorbs quickly onto the skin. it doesn't leave any greasy film on top of the skin. after giving this product a good try for a couple weeks now i realize that it really helps to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads that are usually very difficult and painful to get rid off even with forceful and painful extraction process but now they comes off very easily!! now my nose area has become a lot clearer with the removal of blackheads.

How to use

- Pump 2 to 3 pea sized drops onto your palm then apply on your t-zone areas and on the areas with black and whiteheads.

The ingredients

O2 bubbly bright (Oxygenating mask)

This O2 bubbly bright (Oxygenating mask) is said to be purifying, brightening and exfoliating.Its formula combines oxygen bubble and rice powder to brighten up and even up complexion, the red soft beads gently exfoliate the skin while the frizzes starting forming bubbles in soft foam to soak up impurities on the skin.

Using a sufficient amount of product all over the face I spread the product evenly on my skin and then it'll start forming bubbles in which by 10 mins your whole face will be covered with bubbles, as shown in the picture below. After rinsing it off my skin feels super fresh, supple, soft and it doesn't feel like its stripping off all the moisture. No squeaky/ tight clean feeling too!

This is how the product looks like on the inside, it comes in a pinkish formula with tiny red exfoliating beads that are very gentle on the skin. The formula really feel like it deep cleanse yet very gentle on the skin too.

One the left its the picture of my face with the product right after application, the product starts to foam up and create bubble on the skin. Then after leaving it for 10 mins the bubble disperse and become more dense in some area. Then I would usually massage the the bubbles into my skin again before rinsing off.

[Review]: Nivea Micellar Water + Nivea Double Eye Make-Up Remover #CleansedByNIVEA

Cleansing is essential for our skin to keep them clean and healthy... As someone who wears makeup on daily basis, cleansing is on my top priority! Even though I prefer light and natural makeup but even such makeup requires me to put a lot of base to ensure my skin looks flawless therefore I'm actually putting a lot of product on my skin which needs to be removed and cleansed every day to avoid my skin from breaking out.
Speaking of which I'm not blessed in the skin department and my skin has always been sensitive and very prone to acne which makes cleansing crucial for my skin care regime. I can't afford to risk the problems that might arise due to improper cleansing that's why I still double cleanse no matter how lazy and tired I am at the end of the day.

Now let me introduce you to my current favorite cleanser, they are the newest product from Nivea: Nivea Micellar Water and Nivea Double Eye Make-Up Remover. Nivea comes out with this two new products and with their tagline which I can totally relate to Makeup by me and #CleansedByNivea, make me wanna try out the product even more. I would usually go in with micellar water to cleanse my whole face but sometimes eye makeup such eyeliner and mascara tend to be hard to remove especially when they are waterproof which requires another special cleanser for that area of the skin as we shouldn't be rubbing our skin hardly trying to get rid of them. Cause our skin are very gentle and we need to treat it gently too!

Nivea Micellar Water

Need some quick makeup removing cleanser I would suggest micellar water! By now you must have known I'm a fan of micellar water and this one by Nivea didn't fail to impress me. It is very effective in cleansing the makeup and leaves the skin feels smooth and doesn't strip off the moisture in our skin because it's alcohol free. In a few swipes you'll see no more makeup residue on your cotton bud and the formula of this micellar water is also said to help retain moisture on our skin. It is suitable for all skin type from normal to oily skin.

Nivea Double Eye Make-Up Remover

It removes waterproof makeup for sensitive eyes and lip area with Bi-phase formula. The formula of this Nivea Double Eye Make-Up Remover is made to remove waterproof makeup effectively and easily without the need to rub hardly. The makeup will completely be gone from the skin after cleansing. It is also made with the formula which doesn't sting on the eye area, as we all know eyes area tend to sensitive compare to the rest of the skin on our face therefore only use products that are gentle. Even though its gentle but it is also very powerful in removing makeup. Aside from eyes it can also be used to remove all those kiss proof lipsticks or stains from lip tints. Another good product in the hood!

REVIEW

On daily basis I rarely apply any eye makeup especially on days when I got my eyelash extensions on cause I love to keep my makeup minimal. However minimal makeup also requires me to put a lot of product onto my skin because I focus on creating a flawless and healthy looking skin which means I focus a lot on my base makeup and as you know I don't have a flawless skin by default and I do have a lot of troubled areas and discoloration which requires some color correction and concealer to cover up more. Therefore when it comes to cleansing I make sure that my skin is cleanse thoroughly and no makeup product resides on my skin because chances are they'll most likely clog on my pores and cause break outs. After trying both this products by Nivea I'm so impressed with how gentle their formula is on the skin. They also cleanse off my makeup quickly and easily, only some waterproof makeup need the Double Eye Make-Up Remover to actually clear up all the eye makeup and waterproof products. Usually I would use two to three swipes to clear up everything until my cotton but comes off clear and no more product is left on it before I continue to my facial wash step. Below lets see how well the products Clear up the makeup products on my hand.

I got Lipstick, Cushion Foundation, Eyeliner, Mascara and Eyeshadow on my hands and both the Mascara and eyeliner are waterproof and I'll try to remove them off with Nivea Micellar Water and Nivea Double Eye Make-Up Remover.

Pour a few drops of the product onto a cotton bud and then swipe it over the products

Here's what it looks like after using both the products, for the mascara and eyeliner part I need to use the Double Eye Makeup remover over the micellar water to get rid of some stains. However after cleansing twice the skin is completely cleanse afterwards.

No visible residue is seen on the skin, all fresh and clean! my skin also feels refreshed not oily/ greasy or tacky at all.

Overall I would say they are both very good and I truly love how gentle they felt on the skin, I think its because of their formula which doesn't contain alcohol which makes them feel super gentle on the skin. They did a very good job to cleanse the skin without feeling oily/ greasy/ tacky or leaving the skin feel discomfort. I will definitely repurchase once I finished mine, its a good substitute of micellar water for my other ultimate micellar water brand cause I bet the price of this product is a lot more friendly!!
