[Review]: Ultima II Procollagen Extrema™ Face & Neck Complex and Procollagen Extrema Day Lotion SPF 30 PA+++

Skin care is essential and is always on my top priority! I've always been on the continuous hunt in the search for the best skin care that suits my skin condition. As you know every now and then your skin condition changes because of the different external and internal factors that affect the skin. Thus making it very important for us to update our skin care products. Same as my skin, even though my skin condition has been a lot calmer these days but I've also seen that my skin seem to need the boost to keep them elastic and supple as you know being a beauty blogger I am expected / required to wear makeup on daily basis to look on point on every event which eventually makes my skin lost its natural glow and elasticity.

Even though I don't really apply thick or heavy makeup but I can feel my skin's texture is kind of losing its elasticity and appear dull.

Making me search for some additional skin care that will help boost my skin condition and I'm glad hat I was introduced to this product range from Ultima II Procollagen Extrema. Collagen as we all know is a well known ingredient that is used in many moisturizer to keep our skin supple but collagen is actually found inside our skin naturally and our skin can actually regenerate its own collagen however as we age our skin loses its ability to regenerate enough collagen supply for our skin which makes our skin look sagging, dull, visible fine lines etc... all those aging skin syndrome is usually caused by the lack collagen which slower the process of skin regeneration. Therefore it important for us to use products that contain collagen in order to help the skin to regenerate and look everlastingly youthful.

Before people would say that you can only start using skincare in their mid-twenties or early thirties, but this is something not very relevant or applicable these days, why? because before maybe the air is fresher, UV rays aren't very strong, people don't really use make or any other factors that makes them preserve their skin condition even better but now I would totally recommend you to start skin care as early as possible. Starting early helps you to prevent all the possibility of skin problems that might occur in the future. Now to the products that Ultima II sent me, they sent me the two products that are Procollagen Extrema Complex for Face & Neck and Procollagen Extrema Complex Day Lotion SPF 30 PA+++. Both these products are meant to fight early sign of aging and the best thing are both these products are non comedogenic. Both these products contain powerful ingredients such as Hydroxyprosilane and Horse Chestnut Seed to help regenerate skin cells, fight fine lines and prevent early aging; Sodium hyaluronate and collagen complex helps to make skin moisturize, supple and elastic. Vitamin E Acetate, Witch hazel and Willow bark acts as anti-oxidants and help to smoothen and reduce blackheads. Below I'll share some of the product details followed with my experience and review after using it for a week now.

Ultima II Procollagen Extrema Face & Neck Complex

This product is meant to moisturize and reduced the appearance of fine lines or early aging sign with its ProCollagen and moisturizing elements by boosting hydration and restoring the skin's smoothness, suppleness and eventually make the skin look younger, glowing and skin texture and pores will look more refine as the skin becomes smoother.

HOW TO USE:

Apply evenly after cleansing and toning your face and neck, gently massage the product until it absorbs. Use it like a serum for your skin! For optimal result it is suggested to use it together with the following Ultima II Procollagen Extrema products.

This is how the Procollagen Extrema Face & Neck Complex look like, it kind of felt like a serum kind of texture. Very light and easily absorbs into the skin.

Ultima II Procollagen Extrema Day Lotion SPF 30 PA+++

This product contain ProCollagen and other powerful skin conditioning ingredients to revitalize and rejuvenate skin. It is formulated to used as a day time moisturizer with a non greasy formula. It makes the skin instantly glow and moisturized after every use. It retain moisture and boost the skin's smoothness and softness. It also come in SPF 30 PA+++ that help to minimize the problems caused by harmful UV rays. Therefore making the skin feel moisturized and supple throughout the day. Despite it's look that is more thick compared to the Face & Neck complex this lotion has a very lightweight formula that absorbs quickly into the skin.

HOW TO USE:

Apply sufficient lotion evenly in the morning after cleansing, toning and Face and Neck complex then continue with your skin care regime. Gently massage the product into your skin in an upward motion. Use it as a moisturizer as you prep your skin before makeup, it will retain moisture and make your skin radiates. Avoid eye and lip area.

As seen the lotion has a little bit more creamy and thick texture but even though it kind of look white but the lotion doesn't leave any white cast on the skin and it evens out the skin making it look more glowing and moisturized after every use.

See that 24M? that means both these products are best to be used for 24M / 2 years after you've opened the packaging.

Experience

First let me share with you my skin condition, so if you're my loyal reader then you must have known by know that I have serious acne in my teens and my skin condition is very sensitive, combination and acne prone. So I've been very selective in products that I apply on my skin but over the years my skin has calmed down a lot but I still do get acne every now and then but nothing major. However as I age I can feel my skin isn't looking as glowing as it used to, my skin kind of look tired and a bit dull plus a little visible signs of early skin aging. Which is totally sad but inevitable because these days I've been lacking sleep which is very important for skin regeneration therefore can't really blame my skin for its reaction to my unbalanced lifestyle. So now without further ado let's begin with the review...

Day 1

I was so excited when this box came into my mail and I decided to give it a shot directly. The Ultima II Procollagen Extrema Face & Neck Complex feels super light and it glides into my skin so quickly that I barely felt I apply anything on my skin. Moving on I used the Procollagen Extrema Day Lotion SPF 30 PA+++ as my moisturizer. This product is more thick in texture compared to the Face & Neck Complex but once it absorbs into my skin it makes the perfect base for my makeup. It is very moisturizing but not greasy at all! Moreover I really love that both these products doesn't have any significant scent to it. I love everything that is scantily because fragrance tend to be irritating for my skin. Another thing about the lotion is that it comes in SPF 30 which makes your skin protected from all the harmful UV that we're easily exposed too these days. So on that first day I did when for a little walk under the sun so as you can see in the image below my skin seems happy with both this product.

Day 3

After using it continuously everyday I fell even more in love with the products because they just calm my skin and make it look healthier. My skin complexion becomes more radiant and glowing. I believe that its the Procollagen ingredient that plays a huge role in making my skin look more supple and elastic. You just know that the products make your skin happy when you can see that glow from your skin even without applying highlight ( if you get what I mean :') I'll always believed that no skin care can do magic to our skin, like skin care comes with process and sometimes some product that brings good result usually even cause some painful purging process but this one nothing. Everything about the products from the texture, formula, scent everything just make my skin feel happy. Maybe it's the current treat my skin needs after looking tired and dull.

Day 7

Today mark a full one week I've incorporated both these products into my skin care regime and I'm totally loving how it made my skin feel supple and glowing. I believe its the collagen in this products that boost the regeneration of my skin therefore resulting in a more glowing and improved skin texture and elasticity. My skin was looking great till Yesterday but today as I woke up I spot a big pimple on my left cheek, wasn't sure if its the product or it's just my skin but I guess it was just my skin reacting to my current lack of sleep because for this past three days I've been pulling an all nighter and skin is that sensitive that when it spot something is not right it will definitely flare up. Cause if this pimple is caused by the products then it should show its effect on the earlier days, right? As my skin is pretty sensitive when it comes to skincare, so if its not liking it will show directly.

I realized that after incorporating both these products in my skin care routine, my face look more glowing ad my makeup last longer as they set on my skin evenly throughout the day!
