[Review]: NUXE White Series

A few weeks ago I got to attend the NUXE White series launching event hosted at Sephora ID and after the event we're each given a goodie bag containing all these NUXE products. NUXE White series is the newest range from NUXE that have finally launched in Indonesia. To be honest I haven't tried any NUXE products before but I've read reviews and heard a lot of positive reviews about their products especially their dry oil (which I can finally try ! Yeah!!). In this post I'll share with you my review and experience after using these products. As a beauty blogger my work requires me to try out different beauty products which I personally feel can sometime be very tricky for me since my skin is kind of sensitive, but I try my best to try them out for a few weeks before dropping my review to see how it actually work.. so keep up with me to more beauty reviews coming up soon. Here's a little trick I'll share with you, when it comes to skin care I would usually stop everything I'm using completely for one - two days before trying out a whole new range of skin care that is to give my skin a break and so that it can adapt to the new skin care products without being shock with the sudden change of products. However if you have sensitive or acne prone skin, I don't really recommend you to try out different products but if till now you haven't find any skin care that actually work for you, continue the hunt sisters till you find the right products as different people have different skin concern and condition therefore only you would know which products really work out for you. Now enough on the long intro, shall we begin with the review...

Brightening Moisturizing Lotion NUXE White

This lotion product claims to be able to smoothen, refresh and soften the skin with the White flowers and Hyaluronic Acid that are the main ingredient of this product. Hyaluronic Acid is ingredient that is no longer new if you've been following the skin care trend because now almost all skin care products contain Hyaluronic Acid as it helps our skin to regenerate and stay moisturize. I really love the scent of this lotion, usually I'm not a fan of anything with scent but I just can't resist the scent of this product. I guess it works like a toner where you apply this lotion right after you cleanse your face and pour enough amount to wet a cotton pad to swipe all over your face and neck area. I would follow the instruction to apply it both morning and evening right after cleansing my face like usual and I feel this product helps to prep my skin for the next skin care in line. I really refreshes and soften my skin after application and it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It also contains Micro-exfoliating and brightening lotion that encourages cell renewal and refines skin texture.

Dry Skin Moisturizer Crème Fraiche® de Beauté Enrichie

Now one of the Best selling product from NUXE their moisturizer cream. This product is an intensive moisturizer that claims to soothe and hydrate our skin for 24 hours. The packaging of this product is super clean and sleek. Different to the NUXE White series this creams comes from a different product line that is the Crème Fraiche® de Beauté Enrichie. This range is meant to nourishes and moisturizes our skin. When it comes to the texture of the product itself I'm not a fan of this cream because the formula is kind of thick and it felt a bit heavy however upon application on my skin and massaging the product into my skin. It instantly leaves my skin feeling fresh, supple and plump and my skin just sucked up the product as in its drinking it. At first because of its texture I was kind of hesitant to try out because I fear it might break me out but the happy news no it didn't break me out. On the other hand it really nourishes my skin and leaves it hydrated because I do have acnes here and there every once in a while thats while some parts of my skin are excessively drying up but after applying this cream I realize a significant difference it made to my skin. No more dry patches...

I would usually apply this right after the lotion and put sufficient amount about a pea size and dot it all over my face cause I don't want to over moisturize. Especially for sensitive skin like mine always use sufficient minimum amount of products especially when it comes to layering product to avoid your skin from becoming stress and in the end break out!

As you can see the formula of this cream is a little more thick and concentrated compared to my usual cream.

However once it absorbs into your skin, it leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft..

Daily UV Protector SPF30 PA+++ NUXE White

A sunscreen is essential before starting up with makeup I would usually put on sun cream or even on days when I don't feel like using makeup sun screen is a must! This is something I just started to corporate for the past one year but I can say that having sunscreen on I feel more confident to brash the sun knowing that my skin is protected. Usually sun cream can be very thick and greasy due to the protective ingredient but this Daily UV Protector SPF30 PA+++ NUXE White has a very light and watery texture. To be exact this is by far my favorite sun cream I've ever tried! Totally love the formula and texture of it. It doesn't at all feel greasy on my skin, very light to the extend that once it absorbs I can't hardly feel I put anything on my skin.

Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse®

I bet many of you have heard or seen this dry oil by NUXE. It is a multi-purpose dry oil suitable for face, body and hair. If you've seen my mini review of this on my Instagram then you may have known I've been religiously using this as my hair oil to soothe my current dry hair. Beauty do come with a cost, don't they? So after getting my new hair, my hair have become super dry after all the bleaching process it when through but after using this dry oil, I can see slow but sure improvement on the state of my hair and I am truly in love by the scent of this oil it is very soothing and relaxing. Back again I haven't really tried it out for my face yet as I'm still not sure if I need oil for my face as it produces oil by itself pretty well (read: sarcasm). However I have tried using it as a body oil, so right after shower and after body lotion I would pour a few drip of this dry oil on my palm and rub it evenly on both hands before layering it on my skin after lotion. I believe this will help to keep my skin moisturizes as it retain moisture. I usually apply it on my legs, knee or on my knuckles as they tend to get dry easily. After incorporating this step onto my body skin care I realize my skin becomes a lot softer and smooth!!

You can purchase NUXE products from all Sephora ID Stores or shop online through their website. Investment are better made early! Same goes with your skin care investment, start early to avoid much recovery or healing needed as you age. Nuxe may have a heavy price tag but you surely get what you pay for... quality doesn't lie guys!
