Well in order to give you my honest thoughts about this whole Olay Total Effects skincare products I've tried them on for these past few days putting my usual skin care aside. Usually when it comes to skincare I'm the person who wouldn't dare to try any random products because my skin is pretty sensitive and acne prone. So any product that doesn't suit me would really break me out. But since Olay is a brand that I've known since I was a kid (even though before this I've not tried Olay because my parents aren't the most welcoming when it comes to skincare cause they think once you're in your mid 20's that's the most ideal age to start your skincare routine making me only able to sort out my proper skincare routine till recently.) and I've also read many positive reviews about them too, so I'm glad that I had the opportunities to try their newest Olay Total Effects 7 in one. Moreover after attending their recent product and newest brand ambassador launching ( if you've missed out, you can read it here)  I've seen that their products are very carefully researched and made with the best ingredients that are meant to fight anti-aging and other skin problems.

WIthout further ado let's begin~ 

1. Olay Total Effects 7 in One Foaming Cleanser

I think cleansing is the most important step in every skincare routine, cause this first step helps to prepare your skin for the other skincare product to do its work properly. Use this foaming cleaner to wash your face every morning and night to lift out all the excess oil, dirt or makeup on your skin because the key of a healthy skin starts with a clean skin.Pump out enough product onto your hand and lather it out until it forms a foam and gently massage it onto your face then rinse it thoroughly. After trying this out I feel that this cleanser doesnt leave my skin feeling squeaky clean or you know that usual tight sensation some facial foam leaves. It also made my skin feeling super soft and it has a pleasant smell too!   

 2. Olay Total Effects 7 in One Pore Minimizing Toner

After cleansing your face you should always tone it with toner because toner helps to balance out your skin's ph level. This Olay Total Effects 7 Toner is meant to help minimize pores. You may be aware that the main culprit for clogging pores and acnes are big pores! I personally do have quite visible pores due to my past acnes that have enlarged my pores :( Sad story* So I've always been using toner religiously in my skin care routine and while trying out this product I've been very excited with its formula that claim to minimize pores but when I opened it I was surprised by its scent because this toner has a pretty strong scent compared to its cleanser. However aside from its scent I feel that this product did a good job as it leaves my skin feeling very rehydrated and it makes my skin feel tighten and softer. If you ask me did it does its job in minimizing pores? I could say cause it leaves my skin feeling tighten so my pores do appear to diminish but I'll need to test it out longer to see if it really works on my skin.

I usually pour out about 2 cm of the formula on a cotton pad and dab it around my face.

3. Olay Total Effects 7 in One Day Cream

After finishing with the whole cleansing process (cleanser + toner) your skin is finally ready for its treat! I always consider creams as treat or food for the skin as it helps to nourish the skin. This Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Day cream comes in 15 spf which will protect your skin from the harmful UVA/UVB rays and this cream also help to fight the 7 signs of ageing. 

Olay is commited to help woman fight their biggest enemy Ageing sign with this Olay Total Effects Day cream as it fight 7 signs of ageing : Fine line and wrinkles, uneven tone, age spots, uneven texture, dryness, dullness and pores.

When you pump the product out it can feel that the formula is a bit thick but once you apply it onto the skin it absorbs quickly and moisturizes your skin.

I usually pump a pea size of the product on the back of my hand and distribute it evenly onto your face, this product doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy but it is also very moisturizer. I feel that the product glides in quickly into the skin and doesn't make my skin feel sticky at all. After applying this I continue directly with my make up routine and this cream really helps to make my makeup set it perfectly on my skin. Love it! 

4. Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti-ageing Night Cream

Verdict

After giving this whole Olay Total Effects 7 in One skincare line a try, I could say that they did a pretty good job. I didn't see any irritation or breaking outs due to the use of these products but since I've only used it for a couple of days I don't know yet how it will effect my skin but so far so good. The only thing I dislike about it is the scent, I'm not a fan of fragranced skincare products because usually products with scent tend to irritate my skin and I've read somewhere that perfumes ingredient can cause irritation and isn't recommended for sensitive and acne prone skin. That's why since then I've always seeked for products that doesn't have scent. If you asked me if I liked it? I do like their creams because they leave the skin feeling very moisturized and not sticky due to its thick texture. They set in pretty well into the skin once they're applied so it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or so. I'll rate this whole range 4/5 due to the perfume ingredients and strong scent on each product. This whole Olay Total Effects 7 in One is suitable for all skin types so everyone can use it but I'll totally recommend these products especially their creams for those with dry skin because they are very effective and moisturizing! 

Overall they did a good job in establishing this whole product line because each products are designed to clean, tone, moisturize and fight anti-aging, a very complete skin care products in only three step.Quick and easy steps to a healthy, glowy and youthful skin with this Olay Total Effect 7 in One.
